Materials, without the guesswork

Trex or TimberTech? Compare the specific board, not just the brand.

Both offer options worth discussing. Color, texture, sun exposure, cleaning, installation requirements, and the complete project cost all belong in the decision.

Trex composite

Compare board colors, grain patterns, and product lines against the look and budget you have in mind. Follow the selected product's cleaning and care guidance.

TimberTech composite

Another composite option to compare at the product-line level. Bring samples into your own light before deciding on the board color and railing combination.

TimberTech Advanced PVC

A different material category from wood-plastic composite. Compare the exact product, installation requirements, appearance, and warranty for your project.

The whole-project view

What changes the cost of a Charlotte deck?

The boards are only one part of the budget. Two decks with the same square footage can need very different work underneath.

Charlotte decking questions, answered.

How much does a composite deck cost in Charlotte?

Your total depends on deck size, height, framing, demolition, board selection, railings, stairs, access, and any permit or engineering requirements. A board-only price is not a complete project budget. After reviewing your property and scope, we prepare a written proposal with inclusions, exclusions, and payment terms.

Can you replace the boards on my existing deck?

Sometimes, but the existing structure needs an on-site assessment first. Footings, framing, connections, and board support must suit the proposed design and decking product. We will discuss resurfacing only if the structure is suitable; damaged or unsuitable framing may require a rebuild.

Do you offer Trex and TimberTech decking?

Yes. We can discuss Trex composite and TimberTech composite or Advanced PVC options for your project. The right choice depends on the specific product line, appearance, care requirements, exposure, and budget. Manufacturer product warranties and any installer coverage are confirmed for the selected scope.

When can my deck be built?

Start with a planning conversation, especially if you want a deck for next spring. We review our schedule, material lead times, and any approvals before agreeing to a start window. Sending an inquiry does not reserve an installation date.

How do we plan for permits and HOA approvals?

We identify the permit, inspection, engineering, and HOA requirements that apply to your property during scoping. We work through the approvals and document responsibilities in your proposal before you approve work. Share any HOA guidelines with us early so they can be considered in the design.

Where do you take decking inquiries?

Start with your Charlotte-area property address. We review location, scope, and installer availability before arranging a visit. We welcome planning inquiries from Charlotte homeowners, including SouthPark, Myers Park, Dilworth, Ballantyne, and Steele Creek; nearby locations are confirmed individually.

What should I send to start a deck project?

Send your address, whether this is a new deck or a replacement, approximate dimensions, preferred timing, and a comfortable budget range if you have one. Photos are useful for the initial conversation, but they do not replace an on-site structural assessment or a final written scope.
